Opportunity: Sales and Marketing Assistant.
Our Award-winning international marine equipment company has an opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Assistant to continue our global growth.
The role would ideally suit a sales-focused and outgoing personality, with strong administration and communication skills. Willingness to travel, and work within a small and dynamic team are important. Sales and / or marketing background is preferred, and experience of managing customer relationships with B2B clients. Primarily the job will require the management of existing customers, prospecting and development of new opportunities, in order to grow sales and achieve group financial targets. Face-to-face sales, by appointment or at trade shows will also be required. For the right candidate, there is good potential for development within the company.
Working with our International Sales Manager, key responsibilities include:-
- Assist in development of target markets, UK and overseas
- UK dealers account management including proactive sales of new sales programs
- Attendance of trade shows, UK and overseas, where required
- Sales order processing and acknowledgment
- Regular update of prospects/opportunities using ACT / Excel
- Answering technical queries
- Distribution of marketing materials
- Reporting on key customer development
- Following-up sales enquiries, on-line enquiries
- CRM maintenance
