Scanstrut Innovate with Design of New Deck Pod
Following a long tradition of producing innovative, market leading, products Scanstrut are once again adding to their already extensive range. The exciting new range of instrument pods takes a fresh look at the challenge of installing chartplotters or radar displays, onto power or sailboats.
The ingenious Deck Pod solves the problem of finding a level mounting surface on your boat. Offering a one-handed quick release mechanism, simply release the lever, swivel and tilt to alter the angle of your screen, then fasten again – as simple as that. No more problems with viewing your electronics!
Tom Reed, Managing Director at Scanstrut comments. “Before we started designing the range, we questioned our customers to see what they required from a range of instrument mounts. We have taken their comments on board and developed a range of products which install your marine electronics in both an aesthetic and most importantly, a functional way. We are proud of what we have created and we are already getting some great feedback.”
The Deck Pod range is available in two high gloss colours, modern silver or traditional white, giving the customer a choice when installing their electronics.
Prices start from around £ 300.00 for the 8” model, contact Scanstrut for part numbers and further information.
