TSS (Vosper Thorneycroft) - Custom Design
The Brief:
To design a custom pedestal mount for installation of a highly accurate Gyro compass repeater on the bridge of small, high-speed military patrol vessels.
Requirements included:
- Vibration minimisation
- Minimal manufacturing tolerances
- Fast fit to in-build vessels
- Approved surface preparation and finish
Scanstrut Solution:
Modified version of our SC2 pole mount system including new base to reduce through-deck vibration. Additional internal welds to eliminate requirement for low tech fastenings.
Standard fit on all TSS built military patrol vessels.
