The IPX6 waterproof 12/24V Qi certified waterproof wireless charging range enables wireless charging for the outdoor environment, without the need for phone charging cables. Designed from the ground up, this is the world’s first waterproof wireless charge system created specifically for use onboard, with the unique technology is housed in an IPX6, fully encapsulated and sealed unit.

Working directly with 12/24V systems, Hidden 10W is ideal for life on the move and is perfect for sail and powerboats and also RV. Easy install, anywhere you need your phone - indoors or out. FAQs

Can Hidden charger through any material?

Hidden can charge through any surface as long as it’s not metal and is pocket routed to leave only 3mm of material.

Is Wireless Charging safe when the charger is wet?

Yes, the charge passing through the water into your phone is not dangerous to you or your phone.

Can this charge my tablet?

The ROKK wireless range has been engineered to only charge phones, although there are a few wireless charging tablets on the market, 5W of power is not enough to fully charge a large screen device like a tablet.

Do I need to use the Rubber Grip Ring included in the packaging for the charger to work?

No, the grip ring is purely there as a marker or and grip for your phone. You can mark the surface yourselves or leave completely clean, it’s just easier to line up your phone with the central part of the charger with indicator on the charging surface.

What is Qi™ charging?

Qi™ is a wireless technology that uses inductive charging. The ROKK wireless range has been engineered to be Qi compatible. Qi has been adopted by Apple, Samsung and all other major phone brands.

Why is it not fast charging?

10W fast chargers do not charge the phone twice as quick as 5W, overall they are less efficient. The 10W charger will generate more heat, that combined with the outdoor environment, it’s likely to trigger your phones thermal cut out safety feature. We took the decision to use 5W technology that may deliver slightly slower charge, but allows your phone to continue to be used and receive charge outdoors.

Can it be installed using mains power?

The ROKK Wireless range is designed for 12/24V electrical systems, but we can supply transformers that enable them to be fitted to a mains supply. Because each country has its own Power specification please contact technical@scanstrut.com for more information.

Before any product is released, it must pass through the rigorous testing program which involves assessments in electrical, mechanical, U.V., corrosion, thermal, and waterproof categories. IP Test

Water and dust protection under test laboratory conditions to international IP standards. We test between IPX4 (waterjet) and IP68 (submersion).

Accelerated UV Material Test

We accelerate the effects of UV exposure to replicate our products usage in extreme tropical climates. We do this to ensure parts do not become brittle, discolour or fail over time.

Cable Bend Test

Electrical products are bolted into a specially designed automated jig to mechanically bend the cable -45° to +45° for 3000 cycles. This ensures cables will not fail even after prolonged use.

Thermal Chamber Test

Laboratory chamber running from -40°C (-40°F) to +85°C (185°F) and back to -40°C (-40°F) for 120 cycles, this accelerates material ageing to simulate real world environment.

Cable Twist Test

Electrical products are bolted into a specially designed automated jig to mechanically twist the cable -45° to +45° for 3000 cycles. This ensures cables will not fail even after prolonged use.

Temperature Chamber Test

Product placed in a laboratory chamber at high temperatures to ensure our products continue to perform as designed.

Corrosion Test

100-hours of a special formula salt spray that simulates accelerated marine environmental effects on the product.

On Water Charge Test

Using real life on water temperature data to ensure devices will continue to charge at an acceptable speed in extreme cold and hot temperatures.
