Scanstrut Wins IBEX 2026 Innovation Award for Wireless Powered Navlight
Scanstrut is proud to announce that its newly launched Wireless Powered Navigation Pole Light has won an IBEX 2026 Innovation Award in the Deck Equipment and Hardware category.
Designed to eliminate one of the most common failure points found in traditional pole-mounted navigation lights, Navlight replaces corrosion-prone metal-to-metal electrical connections with Scanstrut SystemOne™ Wireless Technology.
As IBEX judge Tim Murphy explains:
“From time immemorial we've seen the crusty green results of corroded metal-to-metal connections on pole-mounted navigation lights. Results that too often lead to lights that fail just when boaters need them most. Scanstrut solves this problem with wireless power delivery and a nifty water-resistant mount, delivering a 2 nautical-mile light that promises to keep working long after traditional models would have failed.”
Available in 600mm (24") and 1200mm (48") lengths, Navlight simply drops into place, delivering power without plugs or exposed electrical connections. The result is a cleaner, simpler installation designed to eliminate the corrosion-prone contacts that can compromise traditional navigation lights.
Tom Reed, CEO of Scanstrut, commented:
“Our focus has always been on solving real boating problems through innovation, new thinking and original ideas. Navlight removes the common weaknesses found in traditional navigation lights, creating a simpler, more reliable solution for boaters everywhere. This award is fantastic recognition for the team and reinforces our commitment to developing innovative products that make life on the water safer and easier.”
Built around simplicity, reliability and durability, Navlight is designed for boaters who expect more from their equipment, delivering a 2 nautical-mile all-round white navigation light in a completely new way.
