Niftylift - Retrofitting to modernize

Problem:
Niftylift, a worldwide supplier of cherry pickers, boom lifts, and lift platforms had identified the need for end-users to have charging onboard all their lifts. Workers using the self-propelled lifts have to carry a phone on board as a safety procedure (alongside powering up other products), often working long hours at heights, and having access to reliable long-lasting charge was identified as an essential for all their self-propelled lifts.

Considerations:
Being a worldwide supplier threw many variables, from weather, heat, and dust factors which needed to be considered.

"Scanstrut needed to offer 1 product, for 100+ locations with 100+ different use scenarios and requirements, that would be reliable and durable - no matter the scenario."

Niftylift needed a product that would work for all scenarios - especially where space is small and having a slim profile, with a minimal extruding profile of the product was critical as space is always limited in self-propelled lift cages.

Solution:
We implemented the Rokk Charge+, a well-tested and trusted charger. At Scanstrut we design and manufacture products for the Marine, Agriculture, Commercial, and RV sectors. Linking together the Scanstrut heritage of outdoor products designed for the harshest of environments, to the needs of Niftylift was key to the success of our product.

Outcome
Niftylift installed the Rokk Charge+ across all of their self-propelling lift range.
Supplying Niftylift with the 'unpackaged option of Rokk Charge+' enabled an efficient installation and seamless retrofit, resulting in minimal overheads for Niftylift.
